In our projects we propose solutions for improving process performance metrics, energy saving, increasing the duration of the furnace campaign and environmental protection.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3596 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/mtechnology.unimk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Image-2.png\" alt=\"Image 2\" width=\"476\" height=\"315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mtechnology.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Image-2.png 476w, https:\/\/mtechnology.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Image-2-300x199.png 300w, https:\/\/mtechnology.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Image-2-450x298.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 476px) 100vw, 476px\" \/><strong>The main objects among the main blast furnace production facilities are the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 blast furnace proper;<br \/>\n\u2014 casthouse;<br \/>\n\u2014 hot blast stove block;<br \/>\n\u2014 blast furnace charging system.<\/p>\n<p>BLAST FURNACE<br \/>\nDuring construction of new blast furnaces, as well as by reconstruction and modernization of the existing ones the following basic solutions are applied:<br \/>\n\u2014 self-supporting-type blast furnace shell;<br \/>\n\u2014 optimization of the furnace profile with an increase of the height of the&#8221;dead layer&#8221; and the blast-furnace crucible;<br \/>\n\u2014 blast-furnace bottom and hearth design with the use of microporous carbon blocks and a ceramic cup for increasing the furnace bottom lining life, which determines the furnace campaign duration;<br \/>\n\u2014 installation of the state-of-the-art cooling systems using chemically treated circulation water;<br \/>\n\u2014 installation of copper cooling staves in the areas with a high heat-transfer intensity;<br \/>\n\u2014 installation of modern means of BF operation monitoring, including automated bottom- and hearth-erosion control.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3597\" src=\"http:\/\/mtechnology.unimk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Image-3.png\" alt=\"Image 3\" width=\"492\" height=\"442\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mtechnology.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Image-3.png 492w, https:\/\/mtechnology.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Image-3-300x270.png 300w, https:\/\/mtechnology.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Image-3-450x404.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 492px) 100vw, 492px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our company develops and designs all kinds of blast furnace cooling systems in combination with cooling plates, including copper staves.<br \/>\nIn our projects we use vertical cooling staves in the stack, which can operate with evaporative cooling, both of natural and forced circulation, as well as can be equipped with a closed- loop chemically treated water cooling. Cooling staves and CTW cooling systems are structurally designed so, that an upward water flow is provided in the cooling staves and cooling system lines. This technical solution makes possible to operate the CTW cooling system in the evaporative cooling mode for a certain time, depending on the amount of water in the expansion tanks, without the blast furnace shutdown during emergency power cut-offs as long as diesel circulation pumps or standby power supply is turned on.<\/p>\n<p>CASTHOUSE<br \/>\nDuring construction or reconstruction designing of BF casthouses our company uses new developments related to installation of modern cast iron and slag runners, with application of casthouse hydraulic machines, dedusting, gas cleaning and slag granulation plants.<br \/>\nThe design of the runners makes it possible to use state-of-the-art high-resistance runner clays.<br \/>\nCasthouse floors are horizontal.<br \/>\nMain, transportation and tilting runners are equipped with shelters. The top of the transportation runner shelters is at the same elevation as the top of the casthouse floor, and it allows us to use floor-standing means of casthouse work mechanization.<\/p>\n<p>HOT BLAST STOVE BLOCK<br \/>\nIn order to increase the blast temperature and to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere, we offer installation of modern, high-temperature, shaftless-type stoves in our projects, which provide:<br \/>\n\u2014 blast temperature increase up to 1300\u00b0\u0421;<br \/>\n\u2014 efficient gas combustion and low CO content in gas emissions;<br \/>\n\u2014 disadvantages of the stoves with an integrated combustion chamber are eliminated (direct gas migration between the combustion chamber and the stove checkerwork, deformation and caving of the combustion chamber, pulsating combustion, uneven distribution of combustion products over the checkerwork, etc.);<br \/>\n\u2014 high durability of the stove dome and the checkerwork.<br \/>\nTo increase the blast temperature as a result of reconstruction of existing blast stoves with an integrated combustion chamber, it is proposed to use the heat of exhaust flue gases. For this purpose the stoves are equipped with a fuel gas and combustion air heater.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3599\" src=\"http:\/\/mtechnology.unimk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/2-min.jpg\" alt=\"2-min\" width=\"1210\" height=\"807\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mtechnology.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/2-min.jpg 1210w, https:\/\/mtechnology.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/2-min-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mtechnology.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/2-min-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mtechnology.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/2-min-1030x687.jpg 1030w, https:\/\/mtechnology.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/2-min-705x470.jpg 705w, https:\/\/mtechnology.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/2-min-450x300.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1210px) 100vw, 1210px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>BLAST FURNACE CHARGING SYSTEM<br \/>\nOne of the most important areas of the blast furnace charging system is stocks transportation. The most modern of all types is a stock-conveying system, which allows to solve many issues of preparation, dosing and proportioning of the charging materials for the blast-furnace smelting process.<br \/>\nTherefore, by reconstruction of bin trestles, equipped with scale cars, we propose to install a charge-conveying system with a fine fraction screening and dusty air suction at junction points in the stockhouse.<br \/>\nFor charge material transportation to the furnace top a skip hoist or a conveyor can be used.<br \/>\nIn our projects we propose installation of bell-type or bell-less tops for charging burden materials directly into the blast furnace, depending on the wishes of the Customer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em><strong>The company &#8220;M Technology&#8221; can perform the works both on a turnkey basis and separate<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>stages (development of process-related design, feasibility study, detailed engineering etc.).<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>Contact us and we will solve any of your problems.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<div  class='av-buildercomment av-av_comments_list-ec6363dcc719aaa3d0e1a23f8cafb014  av-blog-meta-author-disabled av-blog-meta-comments-disabled av-blog-meta-category-disabled av-blog-meta-date-disabled av-blog-meta-html-info-disabled av-blog-meta-tag-disabled'><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our company is able to perform integrated design of blast furnace production facilities.
